Product DescriptionThis is a vibrant, clean cup for a natural process. Aromas of buttered toast or croissant with fruit jam lead into a clean, medium bodied cup with malic acidity. Flavors of rosehips, loganberries, and red currants are accompanied by light sweetness and punctuated by the buttered bread note. This is a great cup to play with your extraction techniques. Light City roast.
Bear in mind, due to the process this bean is not pretty like our Kenya. In fact, it's downright scary before I run it through the optical sorter. But, I believe this is what lends some of the layers of flavor and complexity which make it such an interesting cup!
Yellow & Red Catuai, Pache, and Red & Yellow Bourbon varietals grown in the Laguna de Ayarza region. Natural process, dried on raised beds, 1800 masl.
